This is one of the biggest Twilo records from the late 90s, constantly hammered by Junior Vasquez for a while and even made it on his "Live Volume 2" CD comp. Pure sexy NYC hard tribal sound with pounding drums and long, progressing breakdowns. No crappy congas here, just thudding toms and a very thick kick drum underneath. This is Peter Rauhofer at his best, throwing top-notch production to a gritty genre. The Twisted pressing sounded good then and after applying a bit of cleaner it still gets a good sound through my stereo today. Highly recommended if you really want a taste of what a saturday night at Twilo with Junior could be.
